Workshops

Our activities are designed to give ownership to communities about their own histories and memories. By showing instances of resistance and solidarity in all segments of society, activities focus specifically on women and their contributions to anti-authoritarianism,  consequently mainstreaming gender equality. The  workshops showcase a myriad of experiences at community level that also dismantle entrenched political views, challenge biases for a group or another  and change the social perception of one minority group.

We encourage conversation within communities about relevant histories such as the Roma resistance, Jewish Resistance, anti-fascism, Women and feminism, colonial legacies, state authoritarianism, and unrecognised victimhood. We encourage a form of ethnography and storytelling, allowing people in the community to share their stories and speak directly to younger generations.
